Health Occupation Students of America

Students can participate in HOSA whether in the Healthcare program or not. Each participant is given the opportunity to comepete at various regional, state and national levels in a variety of Health related categories. If students prefer not to compete, there are plenty of opportunities to support the community through community service and outreach. We typically participate in the Fall Festival, the Christmas Parade, The Bluebirds and Bluegrass festival as well as Relay for Life. Other events will present themselves throughout the year as well. 

Being affiliated with HOSA opens the door for specific scholarships, travel opportunities and leadership roles. The organization at a local and state level is led by student officers elected by their peers.
