Theater/Drama

The JHS Theater department puts on two to three main extracurricular productions each year.  The one-act competition in the fall, a musical in late Jan/early Feb, and then a play in the spring.

Our one-act competition play for the 2024-25 school year is "How to Make a Musical".  Performances and competition will be held in October.  Auditions will be in the 1st/2nd week of August.

Our winter/spring musical will be "Once Upon a Mattress".  Performances will be held the weekend of January 30th - Feb 1st..  Auditions will be held in late October.  Stay tuned for more information.

In the spring the department will present a senior directed play (TBD).

Drama Awards and Thespian Inductions will be held at the end of the year in May.
