While the Butts County School System recognizes and respects students’ rights to free expression, student walkouts during the instructional day are not permitted and are considered a disruption to the educational process.

BCSS will return to normal operations on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
All Extracurricular activities have been cancelled for Saturday and Sunday.
BCSS is continuing to monitor the potential winter weather that may affect our area.

The Roaming Red Devils Club proudly announced that senior Jesse Chaffin has been awarded a full travel scholarship for the club’s upcoming international trip to London, Paris, and Barcelona in February 2026. Chaffin will join over 35 of his classmates for this once-in-a-lifetime educational experience abroad.

Starting this August, students will no longer be permitted to access their personal electronic devices during the school day.
